If I had only been smart enough to have…

If I had only been smart enough to have read these reviews first, never would have stepped foot in that store. I bought a $1,800 recliner from sitting in the chair in the store and when I received it almost 2 months later it lacked the cushiony comfort(was cheapened).Finally got them to redo the seat but not like the store at all. The back they shoved in a piece of foam in my home when the new seat was returned. I was hearing they had a hard time getting foam (another family I hear had this happen)so I figure they probably guessed you won’t know the difference. I offered numerous times to take the floor model and no is the answer I received. Tried many times to call and even the company headquarters, no response and leaving messages is called forget if.IF you get a response no reassurance. So,I now have a expensive chair I am SO SORRY I bought. Please people go elsewhere!. Quality and care about their customers has deteriorated so go elsewhere. They need desperately to go out of business, I can only pray this happens to them because they are screwing the public.This site doesn’t even allow me to put the appropriate date. This went on for a couple of months at best in 2020 until I gave up because I Knew unless I got a lawyer involved I would never have gotten any place. BEWARE people, can’t say enough.Buy decorative items only.

Lack of service and quality

Paid $897 for recliner on 5/13/19. Seat cushion has expired. Trying to get any service is a joke, hold, hold hold with no luck. Definitely try another brand!

If I could give half a star

If I could give half a star, I would. Over the years I have spent 10's of thousands of $ with La-Z-Boy. I ordered a recliner (over $2099) Feb 8 2022. I received it June 30. It had a tear in the leather, reported immediately. A new replacement arm was ordered at delivery. It was delayed. Arrived Aug. Leather dye lot had changed so it did not match the chair. Ordering a new one is pointless due to the change in dye lot. The company refuses to replace the chair but says to install it anyway and maybe it won't be too bad. Also offered a refund of $200 on an over 2,000 chair. Shame on me for not reading the reviews posted here. It is obvious that La-Z-Boy no longer values its quality or its customers. This is the last purchase I will ever make from them.

Very Poor Customer Service

I had a very poor experience with La-Z-Boy in Ocala, FL this week. I ordered a sofa and picked it up at their warehouse. After inspection, unbeknownst to my husband and I, the warehouse staff put the protective plastic covering back on the sofa upside down before they placed and secured it on the truck, and the sofa arrived absolutely filthy. I called the La-Z-Boy warehouse and left a detailed message. They never returned my call. I called the Ocala store where I bought it and explained the situation. I was surprised at how curt, dismissive and completely uncooperative they were. They told me it was "not their problem" even though it was very clear how this happened, and they were not interested in my concerns or in trying to resolve the issue. They simply didn't care. I spoke with Comfort Care but no action has been taken by them as yet. Now I have a white sofa I waited almost a year for (after multiple delays and no progress updates at all) that has dirt all over it and looks terrible. I have shopped at La-Z-boy for many years, and I have never had such a concerning experience. Customer service is no longer something they seem to value. This is not the La-Z-Boy I know.

Please don't purchase from this company

I purchased a lift chair a few years ago due to medical needs. It has continually broken down since I got the chair with motors ceasing to work being the main issue. They have finally given up fixing it and have finally agreed to a refund. Since purchasing the chair they have closed the local store so everything goes through a store which is over an hour away. Because of this, they now only seem to send trucks to our area once a month. They won't give me a refund until they pick up the chair which I can understand if they would only come and get it. I have not had use of my chair since the start of July and still don't know when I will get a refund so I can purchase a new lift chair from someone else and reduce some of this pain.

Great Sales Experience. High Quality Furniture.

I am very pleased with my latest experience with La-Z-Boy in Augusta, GA. The sales lady actively listened to me and showed me the sofa and love seat ensemble that worked well in my space. She went above and beyond to please both my husband and me. I am also very pleased with the quality of the fabrics and build of the furniture we chose. I highly recommend this store for no-pressure sales tactics and ability to listen and guide me to my next great purchase. #attentive #no-pressure #high-quality #pleasant #furniture

Poorly upholstered chair

Waited 8 months to get my two new Lazy Boy chairs to replace the 2 I have had for several years. So disappointed in how bad the upholstery job is. So much puckering on the arms of both chairs which were not evident in the chairs on the floor of the store where I purchased them. Cannot recommend.

Bad product and worse support

I'm here to give users my experience. We purchased a couch which arrived broken and with missing bolts. We are on the west coast and they dont service our area with lazyboy support but use sub contractors. its taken 5 months and we dont have a fully functional couch. I've been speaking to VP’s (using linkedin) and Executive.Escalations@la-z-boy dot com but we still have a broken couch. We purchased a Duo couch. Bad company and support.

Update: second support person arrived and said the couch is in bad shape. Tie rods are broken, cushion material is bad quality, recliner is off the track (fixed it), and we have bad springs. Waiting for company execs to make the next move.

Customer NO-Service

I purchased a recliner a year ago, they told me it would be a few months, 8 months later they said it would be another 3-4 months for delivery. Then they offered me an upgrade at a discount but I would get it sooner. That was a huge mistake, the new chair is nothing like the one I ordered. I just called their customer no-service and got an answer of "if its been over 3 days, they wouldn't do anything and if they did, they would charge me 30% restocking fee. It's been 2 weeks. I hate the new chair.

Badly made rubbish furniture …

Sofa and recliner are now just 4 months old, wearing poorly. Recliner is dangerous as coyld tip over due to base being unstable when reclined. It tips easily and is dangerous. Very expensive for the quality, piping on arms not put on right, badly constructed, we dearly wish we had looked at the reviews . DONT buy this rubbish
